BIG APPLE ROUTINE on Tuesday, July 27, Yukio Okutsu Veteran's Home, 6:00-7:30 p.m., $15 per person.  No partner necessary; this is a vintage routine first choreographed by Frankie Manning back in the day and incorporates a number of vigorous jazz movements.  We'll learn as much as we can in the time available.  Please be prompt so we can start right at 6!  The Veterans' Home is on Waianuenue Avenue, just below the Hilo Hospital and just above the intersection with the upper Rainbow Drive (marked by the dialysis sign.) Use the "lower entrance" since the main upper entrance will be closed. The lower entrance is where the 2 wings of the building come together; there are 2 glass doors. Be sure to turn the latch to get in. Go past the reception desk, down the hall parallel to Waianuenue to the elevators; come to the 2nd floor and turn right into the Activity Room. The veterans will be delighted to see you...and so will we!
